Recommend it for a laid-back stay
The owner was so accommodating letting me park my Maserati in the secure garden for peace of mind and they always made sure to have serial and juice in the room even when I left before breakfast. The friendliness of the staff.
It wasn't exactly affordable but it was still reasonable for what you get.

Lovely welcoming stay
In general: Would highly recommend . Great value for money and would have made a lot more money for the experience we had . Location and surroundings: Parking was great, we left to go to the very nearby shops and there was plenty space when we came back. Sourroundings were very lovely and the hotel was close to all the places we were visiting . Couldn't ask for more! Service: Women clearly took pride and was a lovely hostess and couldn't be anymore helpful. Dining: Food was very nice and was adjusted to meet my vegetarian diet . Room: Comfy bed, great shower , tv had a lot of free view programmes but some were very pixilated despite that still managed to watch . The cleanliness can not be argued with as we never found one spec of dust. Could be slightly modernised but except from that love,y room. Fast WiFi ! Brilliant

The breakfast is great, and the location is unbeatable right by Grantham, the centre of Grantham-overall and two supermarkets. The units are outstanding, neat with bath.
Tbh, this hotel needs some tlc.

The cute staff greeted me right away. The Georgian dining room added a lovely touch to breakfast, where I enjoyed a good selection of cereals accompanied by perfectly cooked eggs. The family room was spacious, providing ample room to move around. I encountered a few inconveniences. My room had an odd smell, possibly from the small fridge that seemed neglected. The carpet looked like it needed a good cleaning, and the road noise made it difficult to enjoy a restful night. Despite these issues, the friendly service and decent breakfast were nice.

Booked a room with baths. There were an iron with ironing board, tea/coffee making equipment, and a TV when we arrived. The location was good for traveling around Grantham, just off two supermarkets, the centre and Grantham.

The breakfast options were decent, though nothing extravagant, including a perfectly cooked egg and mushrooms that were quite tasty.
The hot water in the sink was nonexistent, made basic hygiene chores quite inconvenient .

The breakfast options were decent with nicely cooked eggs and mushrooms that were quite tasty, definitely worth starting the day with. The family room was spacious, giving ample room to move around.
Getting into the room was a hassle with a lengthy wait for someone to deliver the key, and I ended up on the top floor instead of the ground floor I requested. The room itself felt a bit dated with old bed covers, dirty carpets, and a small fridge that was smelly and apparently left unplugged. The road noise made it hard to get a peaceful night's sleep. To top it off, the electrical setup raised some concerns about safety, which isn't exactly comforting. The decor was damp and dingy that some serious upgrades are needed here.

The staff were friendly, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. Though there were challenges with the steep stairs, the peaceful location near the town center made it worthwhile. Breakfast was a highlight, energizing me for the day ahead.

Decent option for a transient visit in Grantham with good value for money. Enjoyed a lovely breakfast, particularly the perfectly cooked eggs. If it's raining, bring your own umbrella for the short walk to the main house.
